People making up really bad excuses really annoy me. I.e. when I'm working in a group at school, and someone (who the whole group has relied on) forgets something we need, and makes up an excuse like 'I left it on the bus' - which I know is rubbish and that they just forgot it and were too lazy to remember.
I used to find it hard to say no to people, but now I don't because if I don't want to do something then I shouldn't feel obliged to do it - maybe I'm just turning old and moany? haha.

I'm the same with the no thing. I feel insanely guilty whenever I say no to someone and I have to make up some lame excuse to try cover it up.

those are pretty spiffy ideas. i agree about tip 4. once i found this REALLY cute dwarf bunny, and i couldn't make up my mind so i walked around, i decided yes, got back and ALL the bunnies were sold out. :(

shop assistants make me feel awkward. i really dont like those places where you go in, and the shop assitant watches you like a hawk like you're going to steal something. how uncomfortable is that. maybe its just me though.

but what pisses me off is, whenever i find something nice, my size is always sold out.

anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I don't have to buy presents, I just get them. Haha.
Merry Christmas!

This is a nice list of ideas, I like the one about mapping a route - because I always end up walking to the other side of the shopping centre and then having to walk all the way back again lol.
Shopping assistances scare me - some are helpful, others are just completely rude and uinterested. So i never ask lol.
A way that I've found to stop stress while shopping is to go onto the shops websites before I leave, and see if they have anything I like. Because then I have some sort of idea of what I'm looking for :P

The weather here in Texas sucks too. It's either freezing my toes off or so hot my brain could melt. Stupid climate!!!

I think y'all in England get much of the same weather we do here in Vancouver; lots and lots of rain, right?

After so many years of living in this kind of environment, I've learned to be indifferent about it - even to the point of liking/loving it, even. It keeps things clean and fresh. :P

Still, nothing sucks like being soaked the bone on a cold rainy day. :(

Funny thing is, us people from England moan about the weather all the time and compared to most places in the world it's very mild! I s'pose it's all what you get used (and adapt) to.

I can relate with you on this. Today it snowed very lightly, but it's still cold and the wind doesn't exactly help. Where I live, this time of the year is unpredictable. I really do hate it, but it's the price I pay for living in a state that doesn't have hurricanes or earthquakes.
